Expo East Attendees Explore Products, Education, Networking
The show floor at Expo East in Atlantic City, New Jersey, was abuzz with enthusiastic attendees who explored more than 350 exhibitors showcasing promotional products and business services aimed at the sought-after Northeast market. Presented in partnership with the Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York, Expo East is also delivering more than 30 education sessions focused on topics ranging from marketing to inspiration, sales, embroidery and behavior-based interviewing.
SAAGNY Golf Outing Raises Funds For Its Foundation
Members of Specialty Advertising Association of Greater New York (SAAGNY) and their guests kicked off Expo East on Monday with a long-standing and beloved tradition—the golf tournament. This year’s Lenore Goldberg Memorial Golf Outing was held at the Stockton Seaview Golf Club with 12 foursomes teeing off at noon under breezy, blue skies. The first-place winning team was comprised of Dave Atlas, Henry Fajardo, Dan Torre, and Jack Geiger.
The event was named to honor the late Lenore Goldberg who was a legendary volunteer for the regional association and served as president in 2005-2006.

At Expo East in Atlantic City, New Jersey, PPAI's Professional Development team hosted 30 education seminars covering a number of topics relevant to the promotional products industry, from the essentials of a LinkedIn profile and designing a company website, to embracing diversity in the workplace, marketing strategies and fostering creativity.
Vince DeCecco Talks 'Intrapreneurship,' Customer Management Relations
Among the 30 education seminars hosted by various promotional products industry professionals during Expo East in Atlantic City, New Jersey, this week was Attribution Control & Forecasting: It Doesn't Need To Be Rocket Science, led by Vince DeCecco, the founder and owner of Your Personal Business Trainer, a coaching and talent development company. During the hour-long seminar, which was held on the show floor, DeCecco described the highly complex and intricate topic of attrition control and forecasting. He opened by describing four reasons why mastery of the topic is so relevant—and pertinent—in business: it allows for harnessing better purchasing power with suppliers, better production planning, generating greater borrowing leverage with lenders and growing businesses strategically and as planned.
Expo East Exhibitors Highly Satisfied With Show Experience
The energy on the show floor remained high-spirited as nearly 400 booths opened this morning for the final day of Expo East in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The aisles of the trade show at the Atlantic City Convention Center were filled with smartly decorated booths presenting new, popular and unique products to consider for advertising and marketing campaigns of all types. Many of the booths showcased customizable products, from water bottles to pop sockets and bags, and some offered hands-on experiences, including onsite t-shirt screen printing.
The Product Pavilion Spotlights Standout Products In All Categories
The Product Pavilion at Expo East highlighted innovative, popular products with distinct design and functionality options. The products fell into one of four categories, including Top Sellers, Green Products, Made In The USA and Express Ship, and were conveniently housed in one area of the show floor for easy viewing. The Product Pavilion experienced steady foot traffic throughout the duration of the show, with attendees interested in exploring trending products to use in upcoming projects.
